Several months ago we asked our friends at Ogilvy Public Relations Asset, with whom we have collaborated in the past in many common projects, if they were interested in helping us make a video for Boroume, which simply and directly conveys who and what our organization is and does.

An unexpected surprise awaited us recently when we were informed by the European Parliament that Boroume was selected, together with PRAKSIS and Mrs Catherine Panagopoulou, for the European Citizenship Award 2017.

Where do we find excess food occurring? At every stage of the food chain from agricultural production and food processing, distribution, catering to households.

With great interest we have responded to the invitation to participate in research being conducted by the European Commission “on date marking and other information provided on food labels and food waste prevention”.

Through Boroume’s program "Save and Offering Food", beyond basic food items, special food is also donated, which people who are in need do not have easy access to, like treats from celebrations, desserts from bakeries and other delicacies.

Another very creative school year came to an end! And maybe the school bell rang for the last time this school year on June 15, but, for "Boroume at School”, the school year ended a few weeks ago,..

It is a great honor and pleasure that this summer we are partnering with the Hotel Ekies All Senses Resort in Sithonia, Chalkidiki in the context of their Cooking for Charity program..

For some months now we are fortunate enough to receive, in collaboration with The Hellenic Australia Initiative, outstanding and wonderful volunteers from Australia, who, while on vacation, wish to support the activities of Boroume.
