The Boroume Saving & Offering Food Network consists mainly of hundreds of food and catering businesses. This large and constantly expanding network includes other entities and facilities that manage food as part of their activities.
One such example is the TÜV AUSTRIA Food Allergens Labs, which also contributes to food waste prevention.
In particular, the laboratory managers, after the completion of their sample checks, make sure that any food beyond the samples is utilized in the best possible way. These are foods that are completely safe for human consumption, they simply can no longer be marketed.
As part of our collaboration with TÜV AUSTRIA Food Allergens Labs, the food (frozen products, cheese, seafood, etc.) offered during 2023 corresponded to approximately 6.000 food servings, supporting the food needs of six charitable organizations, cooperating with Boroume, and their beneficiaries.
The above action is part of a broader, multi-year cooperation between TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas and Boroume. We are very honored by the company's trust in our organization!
