In 2024, a small group of dedicated people together with many hundreds of volunteers, supporters and collaborators managed, among many others:
- to save more than 20 million portions of food and offer them to hundreds of charitable organizations throughout Greece
- to have a positive environmental impact of 52.5 million kg of CO2 eq. and 84 million cubic meters of water that were not wasted
- to discuss with thousands of students all over the country and inspire them to become "food saving heroes" themselves
- to work with 37 farmers’ markets in Athens and Thessaloniki and as a result to save & offer more than 220 tons of food
A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all those who in 2024 contributed to this social and environmental impact.

Boroume participates in the SOUFOOD project
Given that 1/3 of agricultural production remains uncollected in the field, the SOULFOOD electronic platform is a modern tool for dealing with the serious challenge of food waste in the agricultural sector
New program "Boroume in the Kitchen"
Yesterday was the official premiere of the 1st food saving cooking seminar of the "Boroume in the Kitchen" program at the Cooking Classes - The Culinary Center.
