For three years we have had the pleasure of working with the catering company La Chocolatière which, always sensitized, makes sure to communicate with us every time there is leftover food from an event that it has organized.
Here at Boroume we often get asked the question "How can I help reduce food waste?" by people who are also sensitive to this issue.
Metadrasi, as part of its actions for the protection of unaccompanied minors, has created and supports hospitality structures in various parts of Greece.
Two more farmers’ markets were recently added to the collaborations of the program "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market", those of Korydallos and Holargos. With these two new partnerships, the farmers’ markets that participate in the program now amount to 22 (5 of which operate in Thessaloniki).
The transition towards a Circular Economy in Food aims at the sustainable use of – limited– resources, optimum use of food, as well as the reuse of resources and optimum management of side/waste streams.
We are very pleased that we are part of this beautiful initiative and a meaningful offer to people in need!
For the third consecutive year, on International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and in the context of corporate social responsibility actions, KPMG organized the "Cook for Good" action, in order to offer meals to people in need.
One of the most beautiful experiences in the context of Boroume’s actions is our involvement with children, always in our effort to discuss with them concepts such as food waste, volunteering and giving in general.
