The Barba Stathis company - a constant supporter in the work of Boroume!

We have the pleasure of collaborating for years with the company Barba Stathis in the context of corporate responsibility actions, which it implements, for society and the environment.

We are especially honored by the trust of Barba Stathis, who firmly and actively supports Boroume's work with the aim of preventing food waste, strengthening food support for socially vulnerable groups and at the same time reducing the environmental burden.

In 2022, Barba Stathis offered food support to 36 - partnering with Boroume – charitable institutions, including social pantries & soup kitchens, shelters for people with disabilities, child protection shelters, elderly care units, and psychosocial rehabilitation units.

In particular, the company offered vegetables and fresh salads - foods of high nutritional value, to people in need have little or no access, a total amount that exceeded 79.000 portions of food in 2022. Collectively, from 2019 to 2022, the food that the company has offered through Boroume corresponds to more than 345.000 portions of food.
