DELTA - an important ally of Boroume in food waste prevention and social giving

We have the great pleasure to work closely with DELTA Foods in order to prevent food waste, as well as to provide food support to socially vulnerable groups.

As part of the company's strategy to reduce food waste, priority is to prevent the production of surpluses, followed by the utilization of surplus products -safe for consumption- through a donation for a charitable cause.

In 2023, the company donated food corresponding to approximately 396.000 portions to -collaborating with Boroume- charitable organizations for the food support of people in need. We are particularly honored by DELTA's trust in Boroume for the optimal utilization of their food!

In addition, we thank them for their substantial contribution to the goals of the voluntary cooperation agreement, coordinated by Boroume, "Alliance for the Reduction of Food Waste" in Greece, and especially for their initiatives aimed at cooperation along the supply chain.
