Saving "strange" fruits and vegetables at the farmers’ market!

Many times in the farmers’ markets where we save and offer whatever is left over at the end of the day, we see unusual fruits and vegetables. And yes, in the past few years we have seen some tens of potatoes heart shaped!

None of them compares to the wonderful potato heart that our volunteers Aspa and Alexis, who came to help us from Australia, found!

30% of global agricultural production unfortunately remains undisposed, mainly because of the very strict cosmetic standards of retail trade. You can help us reduce the waste of fresh fruit and vegetables by choosing them when you see them and by spreading the message!
