NOVOTEL ATHENES, ally of Boroume in the reduction of food waste

It is with great joy that we have been cooperating from 2012 with the hotel NOVOTEL ATHENES, which from the beginning of our action, showed great interest in Boroume’s work to reduce food wastage, which also coincides with the philosophy of the hotel.

Eleni Xiarchogiannopoulou, Sales & Marketing Manager of the Hotel, shared the following with us about our cooperation:

 "We are very happy for the opportunity to collaborate with Boroume, because one of our hotel’s actions is the reduction of food waste, in the framework of the sustainable development program, Our Planet 21--Acting Here program, of the ACCOR group to which we belong. 

With the slogan "No food waste ", the entire hotel’s staff and especially our kitchen strives every day to fight against food waste. Specifically in the case of surplus food or materials, the directive is to offer them or give them a second "life" by producing other meals. They are then sent to charitable organisations such as the Hospice for Neurodisability or Katafygio Agapis (Love Shelter), with whom Boroume brought us into contact. Thank you again for the valuable cooperation in our work.”
