Thank you Barilla Hellas for the years-long support

Today, which is World Pasta Day, everyone’s favorite food has its special day!

On such a special day, we must take the opportunity to express publicly our thanks to Barilla Hellas, a member of the Food Saving Alliance Greece in our country, for the wonderful collaboration we have had for years now and for our common goal being to reduce food waste.

We thank them warmly because, thanks to their help, we have saved and offered, this year alone, over 750,000 portions of pasta and other foods to 13 charitable organizations that support people facing food insecurity.

Additionally, many thanks for the opportunity to inform the company’s executives about the broader dimension of the phenomenon and about ways of dealing with it, through an informative seminar in the context of International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, celebrated worldwide every year on September 29^th.
