Current food needs in the social care services of the municipality of Kifissia

The social care services of the municipality of Kifissia have been operating for four years charitable programs addressing poverty and social exclusion, such as their social grocery, soup kitchen and pharmacy.

320 needy families are supported every month by the social grocery with food and essentials, while 350 people receive cooked food from the soup kitchen.

The food needs are great and more specifically this period the following items are needed:

> Oil

> Legumes

> Pasta

> Flour

> Sugar

> Evaporated Milk

> Tomato Puree

> Canned Food

> Vegetables

> Meat

Besides food there is a need for cleaning and personal hygiene items.
