Boroume at the expert workshop “Preparing recommendations for reducing food waste in the EU”

A few days ago we had the honour of participating in the meeting of the sub-group "Action and Implementation" of the EU Platform on Food Losses and Food Waste in Brussels.

It was an extremely interesting and creative meeting, as participants - representatives of ministries of EU Member States, representative associations of the food value chain, civil society organisations, as well as members of the academic and research community - were invited to discuss and elaborate a text of recommendations to prevent food wastage at every stage of the production, processing, handling, marketing and food consumption chain.

It is an honour for us to be selected to participate in the work of this group of experts, and indeed we have been given a special role in the elaboration of recommendations concerning food donation.
