"Boroume at School" for a better tomorrow

Every invitation we receive from schools that show interest in the "Boroume at School" program fills us with joy and optimism!

Now with the possibility of online presentations we are able to work with schools across the country. Always with the support of teachers, we have the opportunity to inform children about food waste, volunteering and social giving.

During the month of April we conducted 4 online presentations to 67 students, who were informed about the problem and the causes of wasted food, and discovered ways in which they themselves can contribute to tackling the problem.

The presentations at a school in the Peloponnese Region and at a school for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the area of Thessaloniki were special. We were moved by the interventions, questions and paintings of the children.

The immediate positive impact of these presentations and the enthusiasm of the children is a hopeful message for us that the new generation wants to change habits for a better future.
