In an ongoing climate of uncertainty due to the pandemic, Boroume not only managed to cope with the continuous challenges in the daily operation of the organization, but also managed to increase the overall saving and offering of food as well as to create new programs related to the reduction of food waste in Greece.

Boroume participates in the SOUFOOD project
Given that 1/3 of agricultural production remains uncollected in the field, the SOULFOOD electronic platform is a modern tool for dealing with the serious challenge of food waste in the agricultural sector
Byron College participates in “Boroume at the Farmers’ Market” program
The young volunteers of Byron College saved approximately 444 kilos of produce, with which food support was provided
