Boroume at School completes another successful school year

With the completion of the school year, another cycle of activities of the educational program "Boroume at School" is completed. In the 2025-2026 school year, we had the pleasure of meeting students from schools all over the country, listening to their thoughts and concerns and discussing with them the value of responsible food management, giving and volunteering.

Each meeting was a special opportunity for dialogue, exchange of ideas and inspiration. The active participation of the children and the interest they showed give us strength to continue our work and confirm the importance of raising children's awareness about reducing food waste.

Report in numbers:

During the period September 2025 – June 2026:

• 296 educational activities were carried out in 130 schools
• A total of 907 students  participated
• We worked with more than 504 teachers
• The program reached 73 Municipalities from every corner of Greece

We would like to warmly thank METLEN, which for another year is on the side of "Boroume at School". Its valuable support enables us to continue implementing educational activities for students in schools all over Greece, cultivating awareness about food waste and the values of giving and solidarity.

With classrooms empty for the summer, we keep with us everything we have shared with students and teachers during these months. We are renewing our appointment for the new school year, with the same commitment to inspire children to become part of the solution, so that no meal goes to waste.
