A "meaningful" co-operation

The purpose of the organization Boroume is to contribute daily to reducing food waste and at the same time to tackling food insecurity in Greece.

Information and awareness raising among citizens about the important social, environmental and economic benefits from reducing food waste are critical to highlighting the problem and acting on it, as well as to changing our habits and social behavior rules.

In this context and aiming at the widest possible dissemination of our message "Every meal matters", we are honored by our cooperation with the Sign Language Learning Center "Kratylos".

Without a second thought, the school administrators offered to translate two informative videos of Boroume into Greek sign language.

In this way, they offer us the opportunity to create a communication channel and transmission of the Boroume message, and, of course, they contribute to universal access of the deaf community through sign language to all fields of information and social awareness.
