When kids plan their own information campaign on the subject of food waste

It is with great pleasure that we recently started working with the non-profit organization “The Tipping Point in Education” in order to disseminate our message to schools all over Greece. With the use of the 100mentors platform, we had the opportunity to speak a few days ago with pupils from the 33rd Elementary School of Athens on the subject of food waste, volunteerism and giving.

When we completed the discussion with the pupils, they asked us with great interest what they could do on their part to help us actively in the area of awareness of others on this subject and on Boroume’s actions. The idea that surfaced was for the pupils to make small posters in order to post them in various places/stores in their neighborhood so that other people can be informed about how easy it is to  "save" and offer food to people in need.
