When cutting Boroume’s New Year cake is combined with an act of giving

Mon 01 April 2019

The best way to celebrate the cutting of a New Year’s cake (Vassilopita) for us here at Boroume is to accompany our feast with food preparation for people in need.

So, a few days ago we were accommodated at the Greek Baking School of Loulis Mills and under the guidance of Chef Kostis Kostakis of A la Grecque, together we made a few hundred delicious cookies, which we offered to charitable institutions in Aspropyrgos.

We thank Loulis Mills for their warm hospitality and the supply of the materials, chef Kostis Kostakis for the coordination of the team and the fine recipes he shared with us and also AB Vassilopoulos for the generous donation of all other ingredients we needed for the culinary action.
