My Market joins Boroume in the fight against food waste

Thanks to the generosity of My Market, we were able to save 2.3 tons of frozen beef. That’s more than 11,500 food portions!

Through Boroume’s innovative Saving & Offering Food model, we donated the food in minimum time to charitable organizations that support thousands of people facing food insecurity in Attica.

As for the positive environmental impact, this quantity amounts to over 34.6 million liters of water used to produce it.

Every saving & offering food procedure we achieve has multi-faceted significance. Not only because we manage to support people in need, but also because, through our actions, we contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution.
