Restart of the program "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market"

With great pleasure, the actions of the "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market" program gradually resumed in May!

As early as mid month, actions have resumed in 13 areas of Athens and Thessaloniki, while more are added weekly.

Recipient charities, although many of them are still on the alert, as they have contact with or care for vulnerable people, respond with great willingness to action as their needs have increased, especially in foods of high nutritional value.

Famers’market vendors are once again responding warmly and generously to the efforts of Boroume volunteers to support charitable organizations and, consequently, people in need.

Always taking the necessary safety measures, as indicated by our partners, we will continue with undiminished interest and positive energy to "save" the surplus food from the cooperating farmers' markets, so that the people in need are supported.
