MSD actively supports the message of Boroume "Every meal matters"

Every day, we have the pleasure of cooperating with hundreds of food donors, including companies, which, although not active in the food and catering sector, are actively contributing to the reduction of food wastage.

The pharmaceutical company MSD always takes care to ensure that "no portion of food is wasted" in the company canteen. Unserved meals are offered – through Boroume – to local charitable organisations and people in need.

In addition, MSD communicates with us to donate whatever food surplus that arises in their corporate events and conferences.

We were also happy to accept the invitation that the company addressed to us for an informative meeting and discussion with employees about Boroume’s project and actions and the possibilities of voluntary activity.

It is worth noting that a group of volunteers of the company have already participated in an action of the program "Boroume Gleaning" in order to rescue surplus agricultural production. Enthusiastically, the volunteers group of the company harvested more than 300 kilos of beets, which were offered to a charitable institution for the food support of people in need.
