More than 73.5 tons of fruit & vegetables were saved & offered from January by farmers' markets

With smiles and good words the vendors and producers of the farmers’ markets welcomed the thankyou letters distributed by the groups of volunteers from Boroume and the charitable organizations to all the participating farmers’ markets, in Athens and Thessaloniki. These letters express the thanks of Boroume’s team and those of the representatives of the charitable organizations supported by the actions of the program "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market" and the donations of every farmers’ market.

The traders of the farmers’ markets were also informed of the quantities with which their market has supported hundreds of people in need of fresh fruit and vegetables.

In total, the quantity offered by the 20 participating farmers’ markets in Athens and Thessaloniki from January to June 2018 has exceeded 73,500 kg.

All of Boroume’s team and the local charitable organizations that participate in the program "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market " warmly thank each producer and trader in the 20 participating farmers’ markets as well as the associations and their leaders for the excellent cooperation in our common social work.
