JTI "saves" & offers hundreds of food portions through the program "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market"

The volunteers of the company JTI with their participation in the program "Boroume at the Farmers’ Market " saved and offered more than 630 kilos of fruits and vegetables in just a few hours. The action took place in the framework of the voluntary actions program that they carry out every month in various areas of Attica, supporting vulnerable groups of our society.

The volunteers’ team of the company visited the farmers markets of Nea Ionia, Korydallos and Petralona and gathered the surplus fruits and vegetables supporting in this way the soup kitchen of the Church of Saint Spiridonas in Nea Ionia, the Social Services of Korydallos and the Day Center of PRAKSIS respectively.

A big thank you to the volunteers of JTI who with a smile and positive energy participated in our actions and helped in this way to offer hundreds of food portions to people in need.
