Food needs from the Social Grocery/Soup Kitchen of the Municipality of Megara

The Municipality's Social Grocery has been operating since 2017 and aims to meet the basic needs of vulnerable groups, such as large families, the elderly, single-parent families, people with disabilities and the needy who live below the poverty line. 

The Social Grocery supports 150 families on a monthly basis and the Soup Kitchen 65 families on a daily basis. 

During this period, they need the following:
Oil
Legumes
Rice
Pasta (spaghetti, penne, short spaghetti)
Milk (evaporated, fresh)
Grated cheese
Sugar
Flour
Pumaro (Canned tomatos/juice/paste)
Spices (cinnamon wood, allspice)
Salt / Pepper

In addition, they also need personal hygiene items (shampoo, shower gel), toilet paper, and washing powder.
