Food needs from the City of Athens Homeless Shelter

The City of Athens Homeless Shelter aims to support people who are facing difficulties in their daily living or are affected by poverty or they are experiencing social exclusion and social isolation.

Through its structures, the City of Athens Homeless Shelter supports about 26,000 citizens each month, and lately, due to the increasing number of beneficiaries, the needs of KYADA have increased.

During this period they need the following items:

Baby food
Bottled water (0.5 lt package) available to the homeless population through street work
Individual jam/honey packages (available at breakfast in the Day Center)
Toasts
Sugar
Flour
Greek coffee
Evaporated milk

In addition, other items such as baby diapers (No. 2 and above) are needed, kitchen paper, personal hygiene items (baby wipes, sanitary napkins, toothpaste, liquid soap, shaving foam, body deodorant, shampoo etc.) and cleaning essentials (washing up liquid, chlorine, detergent, clothing softener, window cleaning  liquid, etc.).
