A Christmas cooking action in the commercial triangle of Athens

On Friday, 14/12, Athens Trigono organized festive events in order to welcome Christmas.  It was with great pleasure that we participated in this beautiful celebration in our neighbourhood!  Together with the Chef's Club of Greece and with the support of the Association of the Greengrocers of the Varvakeion Market of Athens, we offered food and spread the message “Every meal matters”.

The Association of the Greengrocers of the Varvakeion Square Market of Athens donated the vegetables and the Chef's Club of Greece undertook to turn them into a delicious hot soup!  Passersby from Agia Irini Square had the opportunity to taste the soup and to be informed about the issue of food waste, while 500 portions of soup were offered to the PRAKSIS Organization for the beneficiaries of the Homeless Center.
