Alliance for the Reduction of Food Waste | 2022 Report

One of the purposes of theAlliance for the Reduction of Food Waste in Greece, which was inspired, created and is being coordinated by Boroume (with the substantial support of AB Vassilopoulos, to whom we are very grateful!), is to highlight the many remarkable actions that are implemented in Greece, so that they can act as a source of inspiration for others.
In the following link (here) you will find the 3rd Annual Report for 2022, which contains the multitude of actions and initiatives of the Alliance Members for the past year.
We congratulate all the Members for the substantial contribution - through initiatives & actions - to the collective effort to reduce food waste in Greece with a positive social, environmental and economic impact, we thank the Ministry of the Environment under the auspices of which the Alliance runs, and we wish you... good inspiration!
In 2024, a small group of dedicated people together with many hundreds of volunteers, supporters and collaborators managed, among many others more than 20 million portions of food!
Given that 1/3 of agricultural production remains uncollected in the field, the SOULFOOD electronic platform is a modern tool for dealing with the serious challenge of food waste in the agricultural sector
Yesterday was the official premiere of the 1st food saving cooking seminar of the "Boroume in the Kitchen" program at the Cooking Classes - The Culinary Center.
