Food needs for the Social Services of the Municipality of Thessaloniki

The Municipality of Thessaloniki, through the Directorate of Social Protection and Public Health, implements programs aimed at improving and supporting the quality of life of vulnerable groups of the population. 

It serves the needs of a large number of people living in the area through Social Structures (Social Grocery – Food Kitchens, Homeless Dormitory, Open Homeless Day Center, Hostel for abused women and their children, Special recreation center for people with disabilities). 

In this effort, they invite us to be helpers in their work. They would especially appreciate the possible supply of food items such as pasta, rice, pulses, tomato juice, long-life milk, flour, sugar, toasts, corn flakes, jam, bars, merenda, biscuits, oil (1lit), trachana, Greek coffee, French coffee , tea etc.) in order to be distributed to our fellow human beings in need. 

Additionally, they are in need of personal hygiene & care items, as well as cleaning items (especially laundry detergents).
