New Cooperation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation with Boroume

It is with great honor and pleasure that we announce our new partnership with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which is part of the Global Relief Initiative for the Covid-19 Pandemic, and aims to support our financially most vulnerable fellow citizens in Greece.

More specifically, using the already existing Boroume program "We are Family", which converts cash donations into vouchers, for the purchase of food products, through the existing structures of municipal social services throughout Greece, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation will allocate a €1,000,000 donation for supermarket vouchers to selected beneficiaries of 200 Municipalities throughout the country. The vouchers will be used to support our most vulnerable fellow citizens, especially those affected by the Covid-19 crisis. The duration of the program will be from September to December 2020.
