A Solid Partnership with Social and Environmental Impact: Loulis Food Ingredients & Boroume

It is a great honor for us to have developed a stable and substantial partnership with Loulis Food Ingredients in the context of the company's corporate social and environmental responsibility actions. Our common goal: to reduce food waste and strengthen vulnerable social groups.

Loulis Food Ingredients has consistently embraced Boroume's message of "Every Meal Matters" since 2015, ensuring that all surplus food, from every activity of the company, is used to meet the basic needs of our fellow human beings.

In addition, the company donates its products with approaching use by dates, such as flour and bakery and confectionery mixtures, as well as products prepared at food fairs where it participates.

To date, the total amount of food that has been offered through Boroume thanks to the support of Loulis Food Ingredients corresponds to more than 215,300 servings.

There is also added value in our collaboration with the Loulis Museum where students participate in educational activities that increase their awareness about the phenomenon of food waste and where they learn proper and smart practices to reduce it.
