Through Boroume’s "Saving & Offering Food" network more than 25.000 servings of food are saved and offered daily.

We make sure that all kinds of food -which, although safe for human consumption, would otherwise be in danger of being wasted- are saved for charitable purpose. Food is lost or wasted throughout the chain of production, processing, distribution and consumption of food for several reasons.

What happens, for example, with foodstuffs whose packaging is opened in the context of checks carried out by a company to ensure quality and safety standards?

In these cases, the company Medbest S.A. ensures its products are offered, through Boroume, to charitable bodies for the food support of people in need.

Since the beginning of its cooperation with Boroume, Medbest has offered food corresponding to more than 5.000 food portions to charitable institutions.
