4 more farmer’s markets in the “Boroume at the Farmers' Market” program

There are a total of 21 Athens farmers' markets participating in the “Boroume at the Farmers' Market” program, now that we have restarted our weekly actions at the farmers' market in Dafni, Vyrona and Gyzi, and the addition of the farmers' market in Kypseli.

Since February, when we started our actions at the aforementioned farmer’s markets, we have saved and offered 2,900 kilos of useable surplus fruits and vegetables to charitable organizations that support many different groups of people facing food insecurity.

We are truly grateful to the vendors at the farmer’s markets who have embraced our program from the very beginning and who have warmly welcomed our volunteers.
